Our 36 self catering holiday homes have up to five bedrooms and comfortable accommodation for between four and ten people.
For those looking for a family holiday in Northumberland, Micklewood Park is an ideal base from which to explore this historic area. Only three miles from Morpeth and less than 20 from Newcastle upon Tyne, our holiday park is perfectly placed for Northumberland’s beautiful beaches, countryside and castles such as Bamburgh, Chillingham, Warkworth and Alnwick, where Harry Potter was filmed.
Micklewood Park’s self catering houses are affordable, safe and secure. Situated in the parkland grounds of Longhirst Hall, a few miles north of Morpeth. The holiday park is a great destination for families, friends and specialist groups from which you can enjoy the delights of Northumberland and get active by making use of the extensive on-site leisure and sporting facilities. We have a golf course, tennis court, football and hockey pitches. Longhirst Hall facilities are also available to guests of Micklewood Park.
If you’re a large group, our self catering holiday homes can be reserved together. This means that when planning a reunion, special birthday, anniversary or sports event, you can all be neighbours.

To get the green message across, Micklewood Park believes in starting young. Children receive a backpack of goodies when they arrive and are encouraged to become nature detectives by joining our Secret Squirrel Club.
