Kids love Micklewood Park

To get the green message across, Micklewood Park believes in starting young. Children receive a backpack of goodies when they arrive and are encouraged to become nature detectives by joining our Secret Squirrel Club.

Environmentally friendly, with a commitment to recycling, we cherish our wildlife and woodlands. We support “Red Alert” – the SOS of British woodlands, Save our Squirrels. Our red squirrels will be happy to share their woods with you and we ask that everyone visiting Micklewood Park respects their environment.

Much more wildlife can also be found, a variety of birds, rabbits, roe deer, badgers, swans, ducks, frogs and many, many more. We endeavour to cover our carbon footsteps by planting new trees in the grounds.
